Top Ten Tuesday: Bookish Discoveries in 2019

I recently did my 2019 wrap up and I talked about debuts I discovered in 2019 as well as other backlist authors. Advance warning, if you’ve read that post, I’m sorry there will be a ton of overlap here! It’s been a while since I’ve done a Top Ten Tuesday which is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

Bookish Discoveries in 2019

I read a TON of debuts in 2019 and so I won’t list all of those discoveries. However, I also discovered some new to me authors who have published books before!

  1. Danielle Rollins – Stolen Time
  2. Rebecca Podos – The Wise and the Wicked
  3. Talia Hibbert – Get a Life Chloe Brown
  4. Alisha Rai – The Right Swipe
  5. Kathleen Glasglow – How to Make Friends with the Dark
  6. Olivia Waite – The Lady’s Guide to Celestial Mechanics
  7. Francesca Zappia – Eliza and Her Monsters
  8. Cynthia Hand – The How & The Why
  9. Marie Lu (okay so I had read the Warcross duology before, but hadn’t read the OG series of Legend)
  10. Amie Kaufmann & Jay Kristoff – Illuminae

  1. I’m reading GET A LIFE, CHLOE BROWN right now and loving it! I don’t read much romance, but I follow Talia Hibbert on Twitter, so when I saw this book at Barnes and Noble I decided to try it out. I’m maybe only a third of the way through so far (and reading is bound to go slowly now that I’m back in school), but it’s so funny and I love Chloe and Red so much!
