If you didn’t catch on that November was a whirlwind, based on my late November wrap up, then here it goes. November was a cyclone.
Books Read
So I feel like I didn’t have the best of all reading months, a lot of them where middle of the road for me. But looking back I had a lot of wins! All the red rimmed books were advance galley books. I absolutely loved the audiobooks I listened to this month – Geekerella and The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet. For my favorite science fiction titles it’s a hard toss between Into the Drowning Deep and Fifth Season. For YA I would have to say it could have been The Speaker or The November Girl.
So looking back, I actually had a lot of hits that I just got so sweeped up with. I was finishing up my internship at the end of November, so I was sort of in a reading daze.
Overall, I am pretty happy with the mix of books I have here, but I wish I had some more diverse titles.
Favorite Book of November
This is the hardest decision so far. I can’t even imagine how hard it will be to do the 2017 wrap up….So let me just forget about that. I would have to say my favorite book might have been Into the Drowning Deep. It’s such a close call with that one, The November Girl, and The Fifth Season, but that one just appealed to the inner person in me – the one who was obsessed with mermaids and mockumentaries.
What’s next?
December is a weird month of work, but not an internship, and family holiday plans and what not. My partner is coming to visit me, so that’s great. I have a lot of different projects in the work that will hopefully yield rewards, but for the most part, this is more of a relaxing month for me – or it should be.

Whoa, that’s quite a few books for a single month! That’s great that you had such good experiences with so many of them. I don’t know if I’d love Into the Drowning Deep, but maybe? I do like mockumentaries, so I might give it a shot if I get the chance.
Hope your December is even better than you expect!
Thanks for the December well wishes. For Into the Drowning Deep you should also like mermaids, then it’ll be a good mix, Oh! and science
