Okay I’ve finally caught up with book reviews from 2021, so I’m able to show you a wrap up of all the books I read! I’m not sure if you all care about that, but I am personally excited to share it with you. March was a real doozy and I look back on some of these books and I’m like, “was that really March?!”
Books Read – 30
Of the 30, exactly 2/3 were featuring POC characters and 1/3 featured queer characters. I was actually super excited that it worked that way. Normally I feel really self conscious about my math, but with this I was so certain. And I had so many favorites from last month with most of them being ARCs. Which makes sense since I read mostly ARCs. So many were also ones I sincerely loved, but didn’t make it to the top of my list.
I read such unique worlds and swoony storylines. But some of my favorite YA Contemporary were: She Gets the Girl, The One True Me & You, An Arrow to the Moon, Kiss & Tell, The Chandler Legacies & Heartbreak Symphony. For adult fantasy I adored The Cartographers & The Blood Trials. And I had two romance favorites which I just finished last week: The Romantic Agenda & A Brush with Love. But it was so hard to narrow it down!
March was one of those months where I had no idea how it even started. I looked at this list and was like, that doesn’t feel real. I know that April will be the same because I’m reading like 6 or 7 books at once now and my brain is seriously threatening to explode.
Wow, 30 books? And I thought I did good with my 22 books! Looks like you had some good reads too. Hmm, if I had to pick a favorite from last month, which is impossible, I think I’d pick Gouda Friends by Cathy Yarley.
