Summary
Jasmine Allen believes in bad luck, great wine, and the seductive power of a stiletto heel. What she doesn’t believe in is love. Her life is perfect without all that romance rubbish—until a plumbing disaster screws everything up and leaves Jas homeless. Luckily, she has someone to turn to: her best friend Rahul.
For seven years, Rahul Khan has followed three simple rules.
* Don’t touch Jasmine if you can help it.
* Don’t look at her arse in that skirt.
* And don’t ever—ever—tell her you love her.
He should’ve added another rule: Do not, under any circumstances, let Jas move into your house.
Now Rahul is living with the friend he can’t have, and it’s decimating his control. He knows their shared dinners aren’t dates, their late-night kisses are a mistake, and the tenderness in Jasmine’s gaze is only temporary. One wrong word could send his skittish best friend running.
So why is he tempted to risk it all?
Review

(Disclaimer: I received this book from the publisher. This has not impacted my review which is unbiased and honest.)
I loved The Roommate Risk. First of all, I adore dual POV romances because we can really see the misconceptions and misunderstandings. In The Roommate Risk it’s sheer perfection. We witness the way Rahul has had it BAD for Jasmine. I love a good ‘he falls first’ and The Roommate Risk balances that and friends to lovers with finesse and spice. Secondly, if you’re going to have dual POV and those tender looks, yearning, and realization moments you better have dual narration! And The Roommate Risk delivers. This audiobook made me melt with the romance and the accents!

Even better, The Roommate Risk features Jasmine the queen of No Strings and how Rahul has been desperately trying to get over her for years. The past flashbacks just turn the intensity to the yearning up to 1000% percent. Friends to lovers rejoice! This has the signature line from realizing we’re friends to something more, he falls first, and the emotional vulnerability. Hibbert delivers characters full of feelings and depth as Jasmine worries that no one could want her as she is. The Roommate Risk is perfect for all the romance reads who love pining!
