Summary

We love a good fake dating and if he’s an astronaut even better! I love how the initial hook for The Kiss Countdown. And it is so charming. With a disastrous meet cute, Amerie and Vincent are a study in opposites attracting, in the force of chemistry, and the power of believing it could be real. I loved watching Amerie and Vincent get to know each other. All the (mis)conceptions we have about who we are and who the person sitting across of us is.

It feels tender. Vincent and Amerie have to ask themselves if they have the bravery to let it be real. If we can trust the feelings, the strength of our connection. If we are okay risking it all for the chance it could be something. I also love a good ‘I’m falling for them’ scene and we have it! The Kiss Countdown is a testament to the courage of letting people into our lives. To not let the fear mean we over protect ourselves. That we never let ourselves be loved or love in return.
