Review

Could Paladin’s be my favorite? I loved Grace and Stephen in Paladin’s Grace. Being dual POV was a masterful choice on the romance front. We can see the ways in which there are these brushes and comments misunderstood. All the yearning, the tension, and the not knowing if someone likes us. This was chef’s kiss romance burn that I was eating up while kicking my feet and giggling. And that’s just the start. Paladin’s Grace has some adorable and quirky side characters who I am SO excited to see again in the future. There’s something promising about them, their mannerisms, and how solidly they define themselves in our hearts.

Don’t even get me started on how much I loved Tab! But the star of the show are Grace and Stephen. For Stephen he has to figure out the purpose of his life. Is his life always going to be subsumed by his order, his faith, his brothers? Does he not deserve anything of his own? And for Grace, she has one foot out of the door the whole time and so utterly convinced she’s not worth loving. Their awkward dance of tension, romance, and their own issues they have to navigate swept me away. It’s a phenomenal blend of mystery, fantasy, and romance all at once! The hype is real!
