Our Infinite Fates is as good as I thought it would be. I’m a sucker for infinite lifetimes and for soulmates throughout. Yes, in Our Infinite Fates they’re trying to kill each other, but potatoes potatoes. Keep reading this book review of Our Infinite Fates for my full thoughts.
Summary
Evelyn remembers all her past lives. She also remembers that in every single one, she’s been murdered before her eighteenth birthday by Arden, a supernatural being whose soul―and survival―is tethered to hers.
The problem is that she’s quite fond of the life she’s in now, and her little sister needs her for bone marrow transplants in order to stay alive. If Evelyn wants to save her sister, she’ll have to:
1. Find the centuries-old devil who hunts her through each life―before they find her first.
2. Figure out why she’s being hunted and finally break their curse.
3. Try not to fall in love.
Review

(Disclaimer: I received this book from the publisher. This has not impacted my review which is unbiased and honest.)
Our Infinite Fates entranced me. Not only is it about the love for a sibling, but it’s also about love which spans centuries and lifetimes. If we were always destined to lose the ones we love time and time again, would we continue to love? Is this not a question we have to ask ourselves even without infinite lifetimes? For Evelyn and Arden it’s complicated by murder. By the fact that they keep dying and Evelyn doesn’t know why. But even so, her power and courage to love remains almost infinite. The mystery of the Why and also if she can save her sister, propels us through Our Infinite Fates.

You fall into these other lifetimes and this endless cycle of betrayal. Our Infinite Fates manages to be driven both by mystery and these universal themes of love and souls. Is there something within each of us that would remain over multiple lives? Could we continue to be brave enough to love each time? To watch the ones we love continue without us? Sofia Oxenham does an absolutely beautiful job at capturing the intricacies of these feelings and emotions. Would you give up the world for the one you love?
Our Infinite Fates is tender and gentle, powerful and loving. It’s a book that absolutely lived up to the hype in my mind and I needed to finish it once I cracked open page one. Find Our Infinite Fates on Goodreads, Storygraph, Amazon, Bookshop.org, Blackwells, & Libro. fm.
