There’s nothing better than a holiday story from one of the most hyped romance authors. And, I got to say, this may be my favorite Ali Hazelwood story. Summary

It wouldn’t be an Ali Hazelwood story without a tall smug man. We love to see it. And what I love about Cruel Winter with You is the childhood nemesis. Featuring snapshots of the past, Cruel Winter with You is not only about the nemesis of our past, but the man of our future. I loved how you can tell the different ways Mark has been weaving in and out of her life. We love a best friendship, but we also love a determined man who knows who he wants and will do whatever it takes.
All in all, Cruel Winter with You is swoony. If you’re itching to get back to the Holiday spirit, then you’ll have to check out this novella and the entire series. It has everything we love in it like misconceptions and fear. What I loved was how quickly we are able to be immersed in Jamie’s emotions and her fear that someone else deserves better. That they’ll chew us up and leave us.
