Air Awakens begins by broaching this divide between sorcerers and non-sorcerers. It begins by asking us whether our ideas about magic, and about sorcerers can be true. We tend to fear what we don’t know about and often magic spells disastrous consequences for those around. We see the unintended victims of magic, of superheroes, of wars. So it’s natural to be afraid of power and what we don’t know. But what if we could learn the truth about them? About magic, intention, and power? I have loved diving into the Air Awakens world and this central question of if we can choose our destiny, our power, and our future.
