A Fire Endless is a magical and action filled series ender. I could not stop reading. Look at me, I had done a good job and portioned out my reading and that plan went out the window as soon as I reached about 50%. I ended up reading the rest in two days. Summary

Yet no one can challenge the North Wind without paying a terrible price, and the sacrifice required this time may be more than Jack, Adaira, Torin, and Sidra can bear to pay.

Reading A Fire Endless was an emotional roller coaster. Not only did it keep me up at night because I kept saying, “one more chapter” until I basically was falling asleep with exhaustion, but also I cried. This series ender had me emotionally invested to the core. I have loved the world building of spirits and magic, which is only evolved and furthered in A Fire Endless. Talk about a world of magical deals and spirits which would probably kill me, but which I love reading about.
But what kept me reading was my emotional investment in the characters. With this island poised on war – seriously conflicted – A Fire Endless had me already shaking my head from the beginning. I kept thinking, “look if my faves don’t make it out alright…” Tears were shed and no spoilers will be given about exactly why. It’s one of those sequels which broke my heart and put it back together all at once.

At the same time, A Fire Endless is about the various definitions of justice and truth. With stakes on every level, Ross delivers a sequel that will make us wonder what it takes to have peace. We often say we are fighting for peace, but when we have all become honed weapons, how can we ever find peace? A Fire Endless is epic and packed with action from start to finish. What a stellar book!
