FLYLeF turns 3Greetings Lovely Visitors,

Welcome to my 3rd anniversary celebration! I’m thrilled, and quite honestly a bit shocked, that I have been able to follow my passion for this long. To celebrate, an amazing group of bloggers and I have planned fun discussion posts for you to enjoy, all centered around the theme…

  DISCUSSION

I am so happy to be a part of Lonna’s 3rd anniversary celebration. I feel like I’ve known Lon for my entire blogging life and it’s probably true! She’s been in every one of my anniversary posts and so I was thrilled when I could host her own celebration! I am obsessed with everything she does – as you know the banners I use in ALL my posts are from her. And I’m in love with the bookmarks she’s made. So I’m a huge FLYLēF fan! I couldn’t pick just one topic for this discussion, so I decided to pick my top 5 questions!

What type of books do you like reading most?
If you’ve spent lots of time on my blog, then you know I am a huge science fiction and fantasy nerd. These genres are my absolute favorite. Additionally, I enjoyed contemporary – specifically YA and Asian American literature.
If you were given the money to buy a book today, what book would you buy?
Oh gosh, first off, please don’t, because I cannot control myself around books or in bookstores. I’d probably look for all the sale books and buy them all. Sale books are my kryptonite.
Where’s your favorite place to read?
I love reading in my bed or on the couch. What’s most important is that I be wearing super comfortable clothes, have a blanket, and some great snacks. I also need a water bottle and tea. I don’t talk enough about tea on my blog. But I am a HUGE tea drinker. I have boxes of loose tea types and tea strainers.
What book do you plan to read next?
I am currently planning on reading Labyrinth Lost. Having heard so much, I am so excited to read this and the next book, Bruja Born. I love when sequels of companion novels come out because it can give me the added push to read the first or the beginning of a series. Don’t you love that? Or is it just me?
Which literary character would you most like to have a ‘significant relationship’ with?
I’m not sure about character, but in terms of authors who were influential on me when I was younger, like real younger, then it’d be Garth Nix and Tamora Pierce. I have all the love for these two especially the Forgotten Kingdom series and Daine!

  BLOGGER BIO

Hello! Thank you for taking a moment to get to know me. I’m quite a closed book actually — shy and all things timid — except when it comes to…well, books of course!

I’m the creative mind behind FLYLēF (pronounced like flyleaf) who enjoys reading late into the night to satisfy my insatiable addiction to mostly young adult and adult novels: romance (contemporary and historical), fantasy, and paranormal (especially vampires). I believe in the magic of spellbinding words coming together to build breathtaking worlds in our minds’ eyes. Happiness is just a book away, find it with me.

I’m also the owner of Ink Furie (that’s a whole nother story, but if you like calligraphy…), host of FLYTIP and Book of Choice Giveaway Hop, and co-host of The Comment Challenge.
