(Disclaimer: I received this book from the publisher. This has not impacted my review which is unbiased and honest.)

Make Your Own Beauty Masks is perfect for anyone who wants to introduce more natural ingredients into your beauty routine. It’s a total win. I’ve been thinking a lot about sustainability and realizing that my sheet masks just produce a lot of waste. Don’t get me wrong. I love a good mask and reading pairing. Make Your Own Beauty Masks is a way to relax, while also producing less single use trash. With natural ingredients you can easily buy it’s simple and fun to use.

In my photo I used just a few ingredients I had lying around the house and made this fabulous coffee egg white mask. Being a huge skincare geek, I already knew about the fabulous properties of coffee, great for a skin pick me up, and egg whites, for tightening. There’s also coconut oil to moisturize. While you remove, the coffee powder is an amazing physical exfoliant. It’s a win all around.

With ten masks included, it’s a fantastic holiday gift. The recipe makes a ton, so you can do a few masks or host a slumber party. You could even use the recipes to make holiday DIY gifts which is how I’m going to use this book!

Make Your Own Beauty Masks is also the first book from the new Odd Dot imprint from Macmillan and I can’t wait to see what other useful books they have in store for us! Find Make Your Own Beauty Masks on Goodreads, Amazon, and the Macmillan website.
