Review: And Now, Back to You by B.K. Borison

After First Time Caller you know I had to read And Now, Back to You. I love these contemporary romances from Borison and this has my favorite enemies to lovers! Keep reading this book review of And Now, Back to You for my full thoughts.

Summary

Jackson Clark and Delilah Stewart have had their fair share of run-ins over the years, often ending in disaster. While Jackson thrives on routine and organization from the comfort of his radio booth, Delilah loves the spontaneity and adventure out in the field. When they’re partnered against their will to cover the snowstorm of the century, they find themselves scrambling to figure out how to work together.

Eager to be taken seriously as a journalist, Delilah offers Jackson a deal. If he can help her ace this assignment, she’ll help him rediscover his long-lost fun side. With an undiscovered chemistry burning beneath their clashes, the unlikely partnership quickly tumbles into an easy and surprising friendship.

But when other feelings start to enter the equation, can Jackson and Delilah withstand the storm? Or does what happens in the mountains, stay in the mountains?

Review

(Disclaimer: I received this book from the publisher. This has not impacted my review which is unbiased and honest.)

I love a good meteorologist and a man who loves lists, so you know I adored And Now, Back to You. We love an opposites attract, enemies to lovers romance and Borison delivers. This is a dual POV gem with banter which will have you giggling, kicking your feet, and smirking. I love an organized man and Jackson is a man after my own heart. I’m not super familiar with “When Harry Met Sally”, but this one might have stolen my heart. The side characters – always a strength of Borison – were immaculate. In And Now, Back to You I loved the “kiss me to distract me” paired with someone who inspires us to shake it up. Borison is such a great character artist as we sink into both Jackson and Delilah.

I was crying while reading And Now, Back to You more than once. My heart broke for Delilah’s experiences with her family member who has Alzheimers and the ways she doesn’t want to be a good time Manic Pixie Dream Girl. She wants the real deal. Paired with Jackson who has been burned so badly in the past and needs to learn to appreciate the soft things, to be vulnerable, and let light in. Their chemistry is electric and I thought I couldn’t love this series any more. I need more immediately. This series has me in its grasp.
