Characters I would invite to a party
I don’t like parties all that much. That’s why, even though I’m 19, I’m convinced that I’m secretly a 70-year-old lady. Seriously. The perfect idea of a party to me is me, around 3 friends, and a lot of tea and cake. And a lot of puppies. But, for the sake of this blog post, I’m going to pretend like I’d invite a whole lot of people to my party. And hey, if I got the chance to invite fictional characters to a party, I’d make sure to invite loads of them, because who can pass up that opportunity? So without further ado, here are the fictional characters I’d invite to my party.
Neville Longbottom
Neville is my favorite Harry Potter character, so of course I would invite him to my party. I also think Neville would be the perfect guest. He’s the kind of person who would go talk to you when he sees you standing alone, he’s the kind of person who you could have deep conversations with outside, when the music just gets too loud, and he’s the kind of person who would help you clean everything up afterwards and makes sure everyone gets home safe. Basically, I want Neville to be my best friend.
Gigi from Tiny Pretty Things
Gigi is that kind of person who can light up a room the moment she steps foot in it. She’s the personification of sunshine, and in a better world, I’d be best friends with her. Of course I’d want to have her at my party.
The entire cast from the Heroes of Olympus series
If you know me at all, you’d know that the Heroes of Olympus series is my all time favorite series. I’d love to have the entire HoO crew at my party, because I think they’d be so much fun to hang out with! But then again, they’re demigods, so they’d bring a lot of dangers with them. Hmmm. Well, at least it wouldn’t be a boring party, then!
Kash from The Girl From Everywhere
Kash is the kind of person who would make everyone feel welcome. He’d make sure there’d be no awkward silences, because he’d always be able to crack a joke. And he’d have a lot of stories to tell about the adventure’s he’s been on.
Mayte (actually, make that the whole girl gang) from The Paths We Choose
In The Paths We Choose we’ve seen that these girls host amazing parties, so I’d love to have them help me organize my own party. And yes, maybe I’m inviting these girls so I can join their friend group. That’s probably the reason why I’m inviting all of these fictional characters, haha.
I have quite a few more characters I’d love to invite, but I feel like I’d get super repetitive if I’d talk about them all in detail, so here’s a short list:
- Natasha from The Sun is Also a Star
- Lincoln from Girl Out of Water
- Martha and Max from If the Dress Fits
- Thorne from the Lunar Chronicles
- Kamala Khan from the Ms Marvel series
So, those are all the fictional characters I’d invite to my party. I want to thank Lili for letting me be apart of her blog anniversary, writing this post was so much fun! I hope you’ll have a great blog anniversary, and I hope you’ll stick around for many more years, because I love reading your content. I’m glad we’re friends.

Fun post. I would invite Louisa from Me Before You. If nothing else, I’d want to see what she would wear 🙂
Oh that’s a great point!
I think I might be a 70 year old woman as well. I’ve always been intrigued by the concept of being a grandma, but am less interested in being a parent, haha. Neville is one of those characters who is really underappreciated. He was such a kind character and had so much growth for having a secondary role in the books. He’d make a wonderful guest for any party.
I agree with you. I have the soul of an old person, my ideal night is sleeping by 10pm in an arm chair in front of a fire. Neville would be such a kind hearted person for a party
Rick Riordan’s characters would make for a great party! Although, there’d probaby be a lot of drama and clean up afterwards.
I have never read any of his work!
