One new release that tickles my fancy is Fatal Throne: The Wives of Henry VIII Tell All by Candace Fleming. It promises to be interesting and not your usual historical ‘faction’ with a different author taking the voice and perspective of Henry & each of his six wives.
It’s like you read my mind! That’s on my desktop as a tab to get from the library!

You have already sent a friend request to this person…goodreads…lol, anyways I don’t like to say such and such a book because my daughter works at indigo and often sends me books or I have an impulse to buy books and then all of a sudden I have to decide on a different book to buy. And I really like to get into series, so I tend to search those out above anything else…oh and I do have two stacks of series to read…but, who doesn’t love books?
haha the ever over flowing TBR pile is a big problem, and one I see every day !!
but that whole making a commitment to what book you’d get….. its..so personal LOL…. and I’m def a book cover type of person…see a cover, grab it, then read the blurb or try to find a review of it to see if its my cup of tea…its not like you do this sort of thing super fast…its a time consuming love … you should see me in a book store LOL …. i fondle books like crazy (And I might have sniffed a few)
