I actually had to stop when reading Perfect Little Monsters to stare. This book delivers twists that will leave you quaking. It’s perfect for thriller mystery vibes! Keep reading my book review of Perfect Little Monsters for my full thoughts.

Summary

Ella Moore was the most popular girl in school…and also the most hated. When she’s murdered at her own party, there are too many suspects to count–and too many people who think she deserved it. The police’s prime suspect is the new girl, Dawn Foster. She was the last to hand Ella a drink on the night Ella died. Plus, all of Ella’s friends with a motive for wanting her dead are more than willing to implicate Dawn.

But Dawn refuses to go down without a fight. She’s determined to clear her name. As she delves deeper into the past, she discovers that Ella and her friends had enemies, and someone is out for revenge. She must uncover the truth before the police arrest the wrong suspect and before the next person dies.

Review

(Disclaimer: I received this book from the author. This has not impacted my review which is unbiased and honest.)

Perfect Little Monsters kept me guessing the whole time. It’s a story that begins with deadly hide and seek, that has dangerous car accidents, and plenty of flashbacks. It’s a book with red herrings, false starts, and plenty of screams. If you are looking for a summer read that will completely devour you, obsess your free time, and keep you up late, this is for you!

What I also loved were the layers of characters and secrets in Perfect Little Monsters. To figure out what we would do for revenge, for justice, for our family. What would we do to be at the top? With friends like this, who needs enemies? Perfect Little Monsters is about the motives we have to hide. All our secrets which are never truly forgotten. It’s twisty and compulsively readable!
